The Landschafts- und Gartenbau Stackelitz GmbH company, with its 5 locations in Stackelitz, Dessau, Halle, Leipzig and Wittenberg, more than 100 employees and a combined turnover of more than 10 million Euro is one of the largest in the industry in the new federal republic states. The fleet accordingly includes more than 100 construction machines, lifting equipment, transporters and special purpose vehicles.

The installation of the GPS systems in all road vehicles has since solved this problem very efficiently. The data can be used both to check the working times of the employees and for accounting. This has increased the operating efficiency. Add to this the fact that if there is an accident, the location and time of operation is now continuously documented. Without the vehicle having to go to the company headquarters reports are sent, automatically to the fleet management software and are available at the end of the month. The system can thus provide a continuous record of the travelling times and stops for the complete fleet.
