    TomTom WORK is a business-to-business division of TomTom which provides easy to use connected navigation, tracking & tracing and fleet management products. You will work as part of a close-knit team focusing on TomTom WORK solutions supporting business clients and resellers in Germany and across Europe. You will provide product information, basic training and give effective technical support to users of TomTom WORK products.

    Product Support Representative, Leipzig

    Task and responsibilities:

    • Provide first level technical support to users and resellers of TomTom WORK products within agreed performance levels. Support is given by phone and by email, and exceptionally in person via onsite visit.

    • Provide technical information and technical support to the back-office sales support and the sales account managers of TomTom WORK during the pre-sales and post-sales cycles.

    • Take care of timely escalation of problems requiring further attention and log all incidents in the CRM of the customer support organisation.

    • Responsible to signal reoccurring problems to Customer Support management and search for opportunities of improvement.

    • Could be required, occasionally, to provide product trainings to customers and TomTom employees

    Profile:

    • Fluent in German

    • Good knowledge of English (written and verbal)

    • Excellent communication skills as well as a talent to establish good relationships with business customers.

    • Enthusiastic, motivated and willing to learn.

    • Minimum 1 year of experience in providing customer support on software and hardware products in B2B or B2C environment.

    • Abilities to identify, to analyze and find solutions for complex technical issues (hardware/software).

    • Possess the following technical knowledge:

      • Basic knowledge of PC hardware

      • Good knowledge of Windows OS

      • Knowledge of Web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla)

      • Basic Knowledge of the internet, GSM and GPS concepts.

    • Autonomy to take ownership of the resolution of a complex incident with minimal help from 2nd line support.

    • Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

    • Team player.

    • Self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision
