Improving efficiency and control of vehicles thanks to TomTom WORK
Sunny provides tax free products to ships' crews and diplomats. The company is a leader in this sector. It stands for service and high quality. Sunny acts in Belgium and the Netherlands. The company employs around 70 people and has a fleet of several vans to deliver products, visit ships and pick people.
In July 2006, ARC installed the TomTom WORK solution. "We realised it would make a crucial difference to the running of our company to see where each delivery was at a certain time, so that the centre can immediately place new orders, call back drivers etc. Thanks to TomTom WORK, we are able to see exactly where our vans are." Patrick Simons said. "We are from now on able to work in a more efficient and less time consuming way. It also gives us visibility over the actions of our 'road' employees e.g. checking deliverances. The system also improves the safety of the company. If a driver has not yet returned to the company when it is closing its doors, the exact time of return can be easily checked now even without the card the drivers usually use to check in and out."
